Grrgh!

WHAT A TODO AND A HOOHA!

What a busy month this has been! Our week in Lanzarote providing the only chill period (see pic). Bit hilly though, Puerto del Carmen, strolling is not an option as you're either going steeply down or steeply up! Suppose I'm a bit fitter than before we went but it's not my idea of a holiday. It was like going to the gym every day - whether I wanted to or not!

The bloody car let me down on Saturday I HATE IT WHEN THE CAR BREAKS DOWN!!!! I've had a car since 1968. There was a break when I got married in 1969 as we couldn't afford one but there's always been a set of wheels available to me since 1973 AND I CAN'T STAND NOT HAVING WHEELS AVAILABLE TO ME!! Had to get the RAC out on Saturday. Turns out the starter motor is up the swanny. Can't even start the bloody thing without someone around to give it a push which means I can't go anywhere on my own until it's fixed. I've got to wait for 'im indoors to get back from work today so we can push start it and take it to the garage to be repaired. Oooohhhhhh Bloody Thing!!!!!!

Noodle is a poorly girl today so her Daddy has kept her home from Nursery. Actually she's alright really. She was sick in the night so keeping her home is just a precaution. Probably something her stupid other Grandmother fed her. You won't believe this but they actually took her to a chinese restaurant! Painted her nails and took her to a bloody Chinese Restaurant! She's three years old for god's sake! What is wrong with these people!

Can you tell I'm pissed off because the BLOODY CAR DOESN'T WORK!?

My brother came to visit yesterday. He-who-thinks-he-knows-everything-but-knows-nothing-at-all. Actually it was a very nice visit for a change. I didn't lose my cool once. We had a nice meal and a chat and he didn't stay too long so it all worked out well really. Noodle and her Daddy came round too and she and I picked daffs and hyacinths from the garden and put them in vases on the fire place. It was great fun.

Great news! I'm off to Bonnie Scotland after Easter to stay with my bessy mate and help with the lambing on the farm. How cool is that!!

Better get on with some housework now I think and then get ready for the great push to the garage!
