I can't believe how quickly time has passed since my last post. I was pretty down then but things have improved on that front a great deal, I've lost a bit of weight (on purpose) and I'm feeling very positive. The good weather has helped as we've been able to have a couple of weekends away on the boat and in the caravan and that always feels good. I get very fed up when the weather is bad for days on end. I'm sure I'm not alone there.
The Noodles are growing fast.
Noodle one came out with another priceless gem recently. She was in the car with her Mum and Mum was giving her some sums to do as they went along.
"What is 7 minus 3?" said Mum.
Noodle thought for a minute, her lips and fingers moving as the working out the sum.
"Four", she said.
"That's right!" said Mum.
"My turn", said Noodle, "OK. Seven........microwave.........two!"
Mum had to stop the car because she couldn't see for laughing!
Today I returned from a lovely week with my Bezzie Mate at her home in Scotland. She showed me how to do cross stitch and now I think I might be addicted. We ate gorgeous home made cake and put the world to rights. Just what I needed. We realised that next year will have been friends for 20 years. I feel very blessed to have such a lovely friend.
Next week me and 'im indoors are going to the Peak District for a few days with some friends.
Ain't life grand!!

Welcome back. I have popped into your place a couple of times... but you weren't home. So I just ran the duster over everywhere, changed the beds, and then left.
I hope everything was in order on your return.

When I used to be a nurse, when it was my turn to do night duty I did cross stitch. I made some beautiful birth samplers for my godson and my children. I might take it back up again x Glad you're feeling better and glad you were happy in the mother country x much love from your auntie xx
auntie gwen - I'm working up to doing something special for my noodles. Watch this space. May even have the courage to show you a pic!!
Glad you're back and feeling better. Laughed out loud at noodle's comment.
Peak District, eh? Might be able to see you from my classroom - I'll look out for a woman on the Pennines with a feather duster!
Good to see you again - I did miss you - and glad that all is well and you have been enjoying yourself recently.
I love to hear the little ones trying new words and not quite getting it right. Priceless. A x
Noodle is a gem. I love how kids minds work. It makes everything better.
Life is grand! Wonderful to see you back...I've been swallowed by Facebook for awhile, but am now bored enough with it to have some blog balance back!
I love when little ones misspeak. My friend's son used to say grace and "Thank Bob" for the food.
Just popped by to see if you are around somewhere. No one home, yet again, so I have tidied up and dusted, but I couldn't find the vacuum cleaner.???
Bye for now
