What's for tea?

Now where was I? Oh yes, housework. Well that's enough of that. The new freezer arrived this afternoon. We have great plans to cook lots at once and freeze for later and buy lots at once so we don't waste time shopping. All gearing up for the summer when we can be outside most of the time. We'll be boating for sure. Testing ourselves against the elements and all that! Actually it's more likely we'll be testing the temperature of the beer. Long (read slow) journeys on the river and canals will the a great source of excitement and contentment. Strange mix I know but that's how it feels when you're floating along, not knowing what's round the next bend. 'im indoors is bound to fall in, lose something important over the side (last year it was two pairs of glasses and a lock key) or otherwise entertain. He sat in the river with a camera on his belt last year too but we got away with that one. The camera was undamaged!

There are no more engineers or deliveries due this week so I'll be able to go out. Number one son may call in, that'll be nice, and granddaughter Noodle may be round too. It's her birthday next month and we've bought her some noisy toys. Drum, tambourine, flute, maracas and castonettes (spelling?) 'im indoors said, "they're not staying here are they?!" in his oh-my-god-more-noise voice. But yes, they are! If you can't have fun round at Nana's house, where can you have fun?
