Ah bless, you'll be all over him when he gets back! Nothing like a bit of quiet time to realise you can only have so much until you start to miss the annoying stuff! Hope you got rested.
OK, even I can tell that it must be 'im indoors! It's good to be by yourself, sometimes, isn't it? Not too often, though.
My husband isn't keen on sport, except for rugby, but student son watches anything on the sport channels - even darts, if there's nothing else. When he's home, it drives me slightly crazy. It's funny how men always have to be in possession of the remote, isn't it? Actually, it's not funny, it's incredibly ANNOYING, sometimes!
Do you ever find, that you are so used to the toilet lid being up, that you accidentally sit on it, if it is down? What a chilly surprise on your bum that is!
mean mom - the description of your son matches 'im indoors to a 'T'. Did our babies get swapped? My son doesn't watch sport at all.
I did sit on the lid during the night! I'm so used to having to put the seat down, half asleep I put the lid down! A very rude awakening. (Funny though eh!) xx
I love it! I enjoy my solitude too, something which has proved difficult over the last few years since Other Half retired!
My mother warned me what it would be like. She said I'd constantly be turning round to find him right behind me, at a loss for something to do. She was right - but when he started saying 'What are we going to do today, then?' before I'd even got my eyes open in the morning, it was the last straw.
Mean Mom - picked up the award (for which many thanks) but haven't got round to the tag yet. (note to self: Must try harder) Flick xx
Strawberry Jam Anne - It was great! Looking forward to next time which will probably be next year so I'll be ready for it by then. Flick xx
Mother's Place - Yes, it was lovely. Thanks for the Meme, it's on my 'to do' list. Flick xx
Milla - Time to assert yourself I feel. Go for it girl! Flick xx
Jay - Welcome, thanks for dropping by. Yes, think it's difficult sometimes to adapt to 24hr contact with other half. Still, where there's a will there's a way. Flick xx

And I bet everything stayed where you put it and the radio didn't suddenly change to Radio 5 either, did it?

There's an award at my place and a tag, if you fancy it.
Can just imagine the bliss of it all. It's good to have your own time and space occasionally.

How lovely - it sounds as if you enjoy the occasional self-indulgence, and why not? Well deserved, I'd say. M :-)
sad thing is, I have no idea WHAT to do with remote controls, never knowingly been allowed to touch em! Steady on now - bet it's better now he's back!
Hi Flick, back to say I've asked you to do the "7 Meme" (details over at my place) - hope you don't mind - wherever you are? M xx
