Ooops - spoke too soon!

It's arrived!

It's about six inches deep at the moment.

The fountain looks like Santa's boots!

The birds are OK - just (I've brushed the snow off now)

'im indoors went out at 7.00am but is back now. The school was closed at 8:30 but one poor woman had struggled from Cambridge, 40 miles away, past jack-knifed lorries on the A1, to attend a meeting only to find the school closed. Nobody had thought to let her know. Mind you, I don't think I would have struggled through like that. A bit "above and beyond" I feel.

Anybody for a snowball fight?

Hi Flick - me again - just spotted your comment on my "10 things beginning with" post - glad you'd like to take part - how about trying the letter 'D'. Thanks. I'll keep a look out for it. A x

It's quite exciting, isn't it? We had about 4 inches, yesterday, some melted, but then, we've had another 2 inches this morning.

Middle son was halfway to work, when it started snowing and hopes he isn't going to have to spend the night there.

Good photos!
