So far (I should perhaps keep my fingers crossed when I say this - not easy when typing! ) we've only had a dusting of snow and although it's been Very cold the roads and paths are clear.
I've heard from my cousin in Sussex that they've been toboganning with their nephews; lots of people couldn't get to work yesterday and I can't believe what happened in London - no buses!
But as usual we missed it. No snowball fights, no snowmen, how boring are we?

I have loads, would you like some ? xx
Brr, cold = okay, but rain and sleet = dreary!
I'd prefer boring, I think!
Thank you for your comment over here, and I shall ring you soon, promise!
You are kidding.
Yesterday was magical in the playground. Thick snowflakes coming down. Most kids had never seen anything like it.
Today it was very icy and it is trying to snow again. We don't usually get it as bad as anyone else, where we are.
Never mind dusty, at least you don't have to put up with the grey manky slush as it starts to melt! It looks lovely but you didn't miss much!
We've had some snow and it's been good to see and hear people playing about in the snow and enjoying themselves. I didn't go out yesterday, or today, however, because it looks treacherous on the footpaths and I don't want to fall over and break anything - like my hip, for example!
We're in Somerset and don't usually get any snow, but we eventually got some through Monday night and Tuesday morning. OH had to dig the car out. First we've had for about 5 years. It has nearly gone now though. A x
auntiegwen - You're SO kind but er no thanks.
T&C - You love the snow really.
Maggie May - I hope we get some wo the Noodles can see it.
MOB - Know what you mean!
Mean Mom - Oooh do be careful!
SJA - Don't worry it's coming back at the end of the week!
xxxxto all Flick
Hello Dusty - just catching up with you again. Like you, I haven't had too much time in recent months! Sorry to hear you haven't had much snow - where are you again? - I do so love seasons to be seasons and that, for me, means snow in winter! It was one of the reasons I was looking forward to moving further north - to get snow rather than rain. Sadly, the snow quotient has gone down each year since we moved up, so I've been pleased this winter is proving to be more of a 'proper' winter.
Glad to hear you're taking more time for yourself.
Me again - we had another dusting last night but have got off very lightly compared with many parts. By the way there is an award for you at my place! A x
Her on the Hill - Hello, nice to see you again. I'm in South Lincolnshire. I bet it's beautiful where you are. I agree about "proper" winters. Maybe we'll be blessed with a "proper" summer. I live in hope. Flick xx
SJA - Oooh thankyou. I'll be over in a sec. Flick xx
tea and cake again - I do love the snow, just not the dreary, grey slush that gets left when it starts to melt.
However, we do have more snow now, and it's beautiful. xx
