Crocs a plenty!

Here are some of my crocs M. I expect you've seen people wearing them. They are incredibly comfortable and come in a huge range of colours. I've two fur lined pairs for the winter! I get my Crocs from http://www.rubbersole.co.uk/ and wouldn't be without them now. Daughter says I can't wear them at the wedding (spoil sport) but I'll certainly have a pair with me as they are very light and easy to pack. Lots of people have asked me about them, especially hairdressers; the nurses at the blood donors, who all have to be on their feet all day. I went to the blood donors this week and the nurse told me she had bought a pink pair having forgotten that it was me who told her about them in the first place! Well, they never look at your face do they!!
Daughter and I sorted out the flowers for the wedding this morning. You'll never guess how much it's going to cost! Go on......have a guess....... Should look stunning though!
I thought I was going on holiday next week. Well, up to the caravan for a few days mainly to get it all sorted out for the season. Then whilst eating our breakfast yesterday, 'im indoors calmly says he has to buy a card for someone at work who is having a birthday next Wednesday.
"So you have to buy it now as you won't be in next week?" Says I.
"I will be in next week, we don't break up until Thursday". Says he
I exploded, "But I've booked for next week - from Monday. You said you were on holiday next week!"
"You didn't say which date though".
(Wearily) Yes I HAD run the dates past him on several occasions. Yes, I HAD double checked the days/dates with him before booking. We HAD discussed the setting up of the caravan as it was to be our first break of the season so it's NOT as if this was a surprise. And YES we HAVE lost the sodding deposit"
GIVE ME STRENGTH................

Thanks Dusty for the lovely pics - yes I do recognise them, but have never tried them. Obviously I should! As for the mix-up with dates etc - maybe it's not so bad having just myself to organize, though motivation is my problem. Some days I just can't seem to get anything done! M :)

Yes, disappointed and angry maggie may. Unfortunately it's not the first time he's mucked up arrangements so he's well in the dog house at the moment! Might have to cheer myself up with some new Crocs!! Fx

If you do try the Crocs M make sure you get the real thing and not the various copies that are available. Won't be the same level of comfort but then won't be the price either! Up to you of course. Fx

Aims, this would be a setting up trip so difficult to manage on my own but further on in the season, when it's all ready, then that's a different matter and it won't matter if he hasn't bothered to tune in or "forgotten to book the dates at work" as has happened in the past because I'll just go without him. Is that what you'd do? Fx

T&C good job you ducked!! :-) We're going down to Dad's on Saturday so opportunity gone for this Easter. Luvu2 Fx

Yes - I'd go on my own. Although I love to spend every spare moment The Man has with him...if he can't make it - off I go...and I enjoy myself too! I make sure I enjoy myself!

Makes sense to me Aims. I think that's what I'll do too. Many thanks. Fx

Crocs are great. I think that they would make very good wedding shoes! Sorry about your holiday. Hope you can sort something out.

I've managed to respond to your tag, just in case you've been waiting. I had to have a bit of a think about it!

Liked your list mean mom. Funny how you can think of lots of things once you get started. Fx

Crocs? It seems everyone here in the Pacific NW has a pair. I refuse. I opted for a rubber pair of clogs called "slogs" thay are found in the garden markets. They also come in all colors. But not nearly as popular as croc's.
